Going out with someone, when you don't want the same things?

I enjoy her company, she loves the art scene like I do, but don't feel a great attraction to her. I know she wants a long term relationship, especially since she's in her late 20s. I've told her I would like to either be friends, or have casual dates. She seemed fine with it; but I'll admit to taking her to upscale restaurants, or semi-romantic things like sitting on a beach and watching a storm approach...things like that. Is it wrong for me to go out with someone not wanting anything, when she agrees, but really wants a long term relationship?
