Let kids be kids?

Yes. I feel that children are being coddled way too much these days. This will not help them when they are faced with adult responsibilities. I saw on the news yesterday that some girl's parents are suing the school because she didn't make the cheerleading squad. Give me a break. Life is full of disappointments and, if we do not prepare our children for them or hold them accountable for their actions, we are setting ourselves up for a complete disaster.
