Why are my pepper plants dying?

There are pesticides strictly for vegetable gardens and they usually have on the packet what kinds of vegetables they can be used with. It does sound like the sun might be baking them also. If you water before sunrise it gives the plants enough time to drink before the sun comes up and burns the plants. If there is water left on the plants the sun will burn through the water faster on the leaves causing them to die.
