Roots of hair are starting to turn gray and im still only a teen (is it from all the hair die)?

HI, ok so im still a teen like i just turn one and my mom has always let me died my hair so i have been doing that since i was in grade 3 ( i think) but i always had it professional done and i take good care of it and i don't use hair spay that much! But went my hair grows it looks likes the roots are GRAY!!!!!! i mean like a sliver gray looking and i started to see that my hair isn't growing as fast as others in my cl and i love my hair and i want it o be long and not gray how to i get it to stop going gray and grow faster :( please help this has been worrying me for a while now!?!?!?!?
