Has the barbie girl look went out of style?

I remember when everyone was obsessed with the really tan, blonde, and fake look, and now it's like you never see them anymore. It's always a more natural looking girl. I didn't really notice it until I was with some of my guy friends and they were looking at "models" online and in magazines, and there was a girl who had the Pam Anderson look and they said, "Ew, she's so 90's, that's not hot at all" And they all freaked out over another girl who looked the opposite of that. So is the fake or barbie look out dated finally?
