As a healthy 14 year old female, would I be allowed do donate bone marrow?

I am an overall healthy 14 year old female, and lately I have been looking for ways I can give back. I want to do something more than just volunteering at a food bank, which countless people do everyday anyways. (Not that it isn't a great thing to do) Recently, I was reading about bone marrow donation and the countless lives that are on the line because people need willing doners who are a match. I decided that I want to donate. I am completely aware of the risks and that it hurts quite a bit, however, I am also aware that this is a small price to pay to help someone in such a huge way. I was wondering if I am legally allowed to donate bone marrow, and how I can go about doing so. Inputs by medical professionals as well as others with knowledge on the subject are greatly appreciated! thanks. :)
